Overview
Azure Portal, is a collection of cloud services and software products developed by Microsoft. This article describes how to set up Azure AD as an SSO provider in order to access VGS Dashboard.
Setup
Sign in to your Azure Portal and navigate to Azure Active Directory > Add > Enterprise Application
Select Create your own application, provide a name and click Create
Select Set up single sign on > SAML
On the Basic SAML Configuration:
enter ACS URL and ENTITY ID as provided by VGS;
Add a new claim email with source attribute as user.mail in Attributes & Claims.
Optional: Remove existing attributes givenName, surname, name and emailAddress from "Attributes & Claims".
Copy App Federation Metadata Url from SAML Certificates and save it into Metadata of VGS. Enable SAML SSO in VGS.
Turn On the App
Navigate to Users and groups and select Add user/group to assign users to the app.
