Enterprise Identity Providers

VGS allows you configuring a custom SSO provider that supports SAML 2.0 to access the dashboard. To learn more, visit Configuration page.

What are IdP and SSO?

An identity provider (IdP) is a trusted entity which enables the usage of Single Sign-On (SSO). For instance, Oktaarrow-up-right, Google Workspacearrow-up-right, or even your social identity provider like Googlearrow-up-right can be used as an IdP.

SSO allows you to use one set of credentials (e.g., email and password) to access multiple applications.

Advantages of Using SSO

  • Reduce password fatigue as users don't need to remember and manage multiple passwords

  • Simplify usage of different systems to increase productivity

  • Remove the need for administrators to manage multiple accounts for one user

  • Simplify the security and compliance review process for onboarding new vendors
